He was on track to become one of the richest black celebrities in the world and then everything came to a halt!
Instead, he became a "functional" discreet boozer and pill dropper. He reeked horrible damage on his body. Including: Liver and kidney damage unbeknownst to the public.
Now, we're receiving word that he arrives at one of these (private-celebrity) unlisted clinics (black sites) weekly to receive kidney dialysis. The public is not even aware that he's on kidney dialysis, let alone that he is a functional alcoholic and pill addict.
His million dollar fixer has done a great job of covering up all of these allegations.
Our star is so physically weakened and damaged (from his substance abuse) that he's currently not capable of getting through a hour or two hour performance.
Allegedly, this is the real reason why he hasn't performed in a few years and this is also the reason why he's not courting any big time offers to hit the stage again, anytime soon.
BLIND ITEM BONUS: (NOT AGAIN!)
Once again, this rapper has fathered another baby outside of his marriage. The mother is allegedly an Puerto Rican lady from Miami. People are whispering, 'he has no money for her to gold dig and why would she have unprotected sex with him?' Allegedly, his wife doesn't have a problem with this outside child, either, (his 4th).

1. MJ. I remember that it was said he would walk around with a soda can as a sippy cup for his booze and he secrectly went to rehab for his booze/pill problem. He's been getting loaded for years. Thats why you can hear a sligt slur when he speaks, high as a kite.

I DVR~ed the Phyliss Hyman story but did not watch it yet. I know it will be sad. I read Strength of a Woman: The Phyllis Hyman Story so I pretty much know the details of her sad life. This book made me so sad by the time I finished it.
But I guess I take comfort in the fact that, like she sings in the end of the song, Meet me on the moon, Her spirit is now free.

The common thread in all of MJs legal issues with children ....all allegations involved use Jesus Juice and power pellets.....hmmmmmm.....even the case in 93.....so assuming that he was using heavily then there is no doubt that his renal function is compromised now....remember the Martin Bashir interview?....he was tryin to tdo the MJ but he looked kinda tired and off a lil bit.....then they went to his special tree where he liked to play Peter Pan and write hit music....but he couldnt get up in the tree LMAO....hes been frail for quite sometime

Hmmmm interesting....Ive never heard of Dave having that kind of pull....I mean 50 mill is a nice piece of change....but that doesnt put him in the upper echelon of breadwinners in the game.....he came to Houston for 3 shows and they all sold out in an hr....the shows all lasted longer than 2 hrs....and he got 75gs per show.....good money.....but not money to take him to being one of the wealthiest in the game.....that being said.....dude looks like he needs to put one in the air and eat some food for real LMAOOO!

I don't think Number 1 is Jacko, because he amassed a fortune well before his molestation charges ever came to light. He was already one of the most wealthy black entertainters before Bad came out, and cemented that status with the purchase of the Beatles catalog. Now, he might have squandered quite a bit, but I don't think he's number 1.

Im not sure that that DQs Jacko from being the one.....much of his fortune is not based in cash on hand but on questionable future values of his extensive catalog of music....He had wealth but not the cash on hand like Oprah,The Cos,Bob Johnson etc...liquidity has always been the issue for Jacko......this is something that The King can confirm 1st hand.....and the fact that he unable to collect multi million dollar fees for performances from his wealthly middle eastern friends says alot more about where he really is financially today than what he had before the charges came down...

Basically, it came up for sale and Paul made the mistake of discussing his pending plans to purchase the catalog with his "good friend" Michael, who then turned around and purchased the catalog right out from under him. Hence, the friendship is no longer.

Hey SG77!**all smiles** There is a little known loophole that exists within the corporate structure of publicly owned labels....If an owner of copywritten material would like to sell the ownership rights of a title the label is required to submit an offer of 75 pct of the titles present day value...the owner can sell 100 pct outright or a smaller pct if they want to keep a portion of the title.....What MJ did that was so ice cold was that he somehow got Sony to purchase a majority pct of the songs from Paul Mac and then turned around and sell that interest back to him at a discount...Paul Mac really became one of the wealthiest people in the game because of that transaction back in the 80s.....hes just salty beacuse of all of the money he missed out on when Jacko started licensing the songs in the catalog to everybody with bread.....

Wow @ the Heather Mills revelations. Now all the Mucca (lol @ that moniker)/Heather Mills stuff makes sense. I always wondered why Stella McCartney disliked Heather so much. Stella must have known about Heather's past. And I read that Heather alleged that Paul mistreated her, wouldn't bring her her prosthetic leg or wheel chair or something like that and she would be humiliated and reduced to dragging herself to the bathroom. I'm sure most of that was lies and her trying to get paid. Did you see that clip where her publicist at the time was complaining he had Heather tooling around in a PT Cruiser? Said it like it was a pinto. Even her publicist has turned around and said that Heather rarely paid her and it was all lies to get sympathy from the public for a big payout. Real piece of work. Supposedly she has already blown through the millions she got from Paul.

I heard from my east coast sources that Carly Simon was screwing Forte for years and get a load of this, my east coast guy said Carly was so sprung she gave him money to front his drug network and he was supplying her and her white celebrity friends. I also read that there's a kicker for the NJ Jets that's looking to get his brother's 27 year sentence commuted on drug charges. I've heard about Carly's mixed heritage . She kept alot of secrets in the early 70's because America wasn't ready to hear major hits from a mixed artist. SMH. Which was the whole reason she married James Taylor, MAJOR mainstream radio artist at the time. Didn't take her long to cheat and alienate James. They still don't speak to this day.

Coming out of Lurkmode(fear of sound like Nycole)....I don't think this is Chris. Chris was at our church convention and he sat beside his mom for about five or six hours, if there was a problem I'm sure we would have noticed. John Forte's story was ran on the show 60 Minutes some years ago. He had a privileged educational background and became very good friends with Carly Simon and her son Ben. Very close like an adopted son. From the show, there appeared to be nothing sexual. She know him since he wsas a kid.

Yeah. Michael Jackson as the answer would be too easy. As for the Beatles catalogue, I thought he sold it to pay off his debt. He already gave up his neverland ranch. Plus I'm getting the impression that he has roof over his head due to having friends in high places. It's been mentioned that he has made bad investments, spend carelessly and have people steal money from under his nose.
Not to say he's dirt poor, but his money hasn't right since he caught those two cases for child sexual abuse.

I think there was some talk of him being "pressured" to sell the catalogue. PM is very SALTY that MJ owns it, and has done everything in his power to retrieve it. The only problem is that catalogue for MJ is the gift that keeps on giving, so MJ won't sell it! Owning that catalogue has proven to be very lucrative for him so I HIGHLY doubt that he is willing to part with it, or has parted with it...

Sony already owns 50 percent of the catalogue and the other 50 cent is collatarel for a 100 million dollar loan MJ received from Sony. If he doesn't pay up in due time, they will own the entire catalogue. The pointer sisters, sam cooke, elvis presley and sly stone hits are also in this catalogue.

Hey Midnight good work on the MJ info-do you know how his outstanding royalty stream with Sony for his catalog is valued in the repayment of the loan?...I heard from a good source that despite all of the leveraging that he still pockets a large portion of the revenues gernerated by his catalog....even after selling 7 yrs worth of pmts on portions of the catalog....im also told that of those streams only 50 pct of the streams where used as collateral for the purchases as well as the loan itself....if that in fact is true MJ could theoretically string this ownership issue along for years because of the unattached 50 pct stake that is still untouched by leveraging.....that stake creates enough positive cashflow that it can be used in a court of law to defend any strong arm tactics that Sony or The Macro-Trickonomics emeritus Paul Mac may try to pull....cask is not king....cashFLOW is king....which is why MJ keeps winning in spite of incredible odds....unfortunately,being a drug addicted pedophile does not preclude one from making shrewd business decisions....and so it goes...

Tony is the truth, the ultimate fixer, M. said you had to pay him a 100 grand non refundable retainer fee to just consider a case. Tony crossed the line and went down, got too greedy and did really shady things. Not good. Funny thing, PR hasn't reported it but a staffer said Tony was trailing Nicole Simpson on OJ's orders, the night she got killed, so he probably knows who killed her and IMO OJ paid him off to keep quiet.

From my federal law enforcement expertise. OJ killed her. I will tell you this without revealing too much, drug enforcers kill with guns, usually silencers, quick and easy, when the murder is done with a knife, it's usually personal and her breasts were cut off, the same breasts OJ paid for.

Faye Resnick is the godmother of Paris Hilton. Her drug debt was so high, she held out and negotiated a deal with playboy where she got a percentage of each issue sold with a 6 figure sum. This is how she paid off her drug debt. I agree, obvious OJ killed her, he even wrote a book about it before it got yanked after a public outcry, an innocent person would not have done that and the carpet fibers in his Bronco were at the murder scene, only 6 white broncos had those fibers and he had the only one in Los Angeles.

I would still have a couple of questions....I agree with you totally that on the surface the two scenarios couldnt be further apart.....but if you add the thread of personal contact between drug dealers with hi profile clientele....whether its through use of drugs together or sex for drugs exchanges this is something that could easily change the conditions for how and when a shot gets called..as well as the severity of how it is to occur....from what I had heard OJ was on the phone with the perp previous to the murder....the murders were committed....OJ showed up on the scene to verify and henceforth the tranfer of his shoe print etc....I know for a fact that the people who were owed the drug debt were not happy at all about the situation.....and that they were know in the 90s for very extreme violence...especially towards women who had debts or women affiliated with men who had debts.....I know that 2 of those men are dead now...and I believe the other is locked up for something else other than murder....anyway....OJ had a lifetime of bad karma and karma always gets the last laugh....and so it goes.....You are so right about Myra-she is a tremendous woman and I feel blessed to have her in my loop!

Absolutely I fault OJ for being violent, crazy and murderous. My issue with her family is that during the trial it came out that a lot of OJ's bad behaviour started way before they got married and her family "encouraged" the continuing of that relationship because OJ kept the family well lubricated. Reflecting on my own family. bottom line if I am not happy and being treated well my family would not take anything from the very person hurting their child. Having said all of that I always thought OJ was an ahole and an ugly one at that.

I always believed that the murders were committed by both OJ and his son. Within a few days of the murders Jason Simpson was visibly beaten up... he had a bloodied black eye, scratches and bruises. For the life of me, I could never figure out why no one ever explored the angle.

I thought I was the only one thinking this! Just the other day I asked my husband "Why is Beyonce yelling on this song?" Okay, it was rhetorical but I was downright annoyed.
Rather than innundating us with another CD, video or movie role, she needs to be somewhere working on her grammar, elocution and standard English.
I agree she has limited intelligence and imagination hence the lawsuits over her stealing songs from Des'ree and that other singer.
Her songwriting credits are a bit suspect. I think she wrote "Bootylicious" and was claiming at one point that she wrote "Unbreakable" which was really written by Ne-Yo. It doesn't make sense.
Too bad her parents didn't stress the importance of education over being a performer, she is clearly lacking in some areas. She doesn't do anything original. Her new song sounds more like a Rihanna song than one she would sing.

wanted to co-cosign on Solange's album. I brought it this weekend, and I must admit I've been banging since it brough it. It's fresh, creative and different from all the other crap that's out there now. One of the standout tracks is "Wouldve been the one". If you guys get a chance, I definitely recommend it. She's not the greatest singer, but she holds a note and the lyrics are the bizzness.

Well...actually...I was surprised that the whole Twilight saga interested me like it did. But no...I'm no "hype person." Mike has been wearing lace fronts. I was shocked because he was on it before it became all the rage. Remember his short cut hair in that video he did with ex-wife Lisa Marie. I was like, he looks manly and then he went into his current look. My mom was a dialysis nurse who ran patients at their homes. You don't need a doctor or any special medical personnel to have it done.
All you need is a dialysis machine and someone to run you two or three times a week. This person can wear street clothes and could easily blend right in. A family member could also be trained to run you on dialysis.
I'm certain the new machines are much smaller now but then you are shipped supplies so that could be a problem if papparazzi are hanging around your house going through the trash.

Yes, you are correct, my Mom has been on dialysis for 8+years and she did the at home process for a bit and they trained my dad to help her with it. There are alot of supplies sent out so there trash issue would be true.

Gorgeous, I will never forget the shots of Mike back in Hwood after moving to Dubai. He basically looked like a walking skeleton in pajamas shuffling from his Toyota Prius to his wheelchair. He looked like a shell of himself and I know I had the thought that he looked like someone who was in the final stages of "something".

If the first BI is Michael Jackson--it's not so much the drinking that got him into this condition....but rather the skin lightening agents. He was one the first to use this procedure, which included taking pills and perhaps shots.
This procedure is very, very toxic and thus hard on the liver and the kidneys. It was a procedure that was NOT meant to be done over 20+ years and such tremendously high levels.
Of course, he's depressed. Wouldn't you be, if you had maimed and destroyed yourself in the way that Michael has? This is all irreversible. He probably uses drugs and alcohol to medicate himself from some very blatant realities...

When I joined M. and her BFF (E.) at Joe Jackson's 75th bday party a few years ago, Michael was walking around not looking healthy and his skin is horrid and pale from all that bleaching and cosmetic surgery and this was a few years ago.

Diddy is a fool, he was suppose to play the quarterback role in the movie on any given sunday but he kept trying to tell oliver stone how to do his job so he was let go and replaced by Jamie Foxx. I can believe Diddy will act a fool on the bond set. Paul McCartney had a chance to buy the beatles songs back before MJ but was too cheap to pony up the money although sir paul is a billionaire, he is known as a cheap skate. Interesting (about Paul), that must be why he tried to get Yoko to go in with him on buying their songs back, to save some money. It's strange, I will always think Mike was trifling for that, but at the same time I do not feel sorry for Paul at all. Like you said, he's a billionaire, what's a few extra million to him? He would have reaped all that back in the royalties. So in a way he cheated himself. It doesn't matter who you do wrong though, just that if you do wrong it will come back to bite you. Yes darling, Puffy was the first choice but he kept trying to tell Oliver how to direct and kept giving creative suggestions and I heard he was not very athletically inclined at all, could barely throw the football five yards. He's pathetic, his rapping is horrid, his acting is horrid, ghost writers wrote all of his material, the only talent he seems to have is beating the hell out of women and refusing to grow up at 40 and making babies. I agree with everything on the front page, he's just too ugly and untalented.

He is super annoying. But I love how Myra blasted him on the Front Page. Remember I think it was BET Backstage that said someone he knew was at a casting for one of Puffy's products and overheard Puffy saying something to the effect of, "Let's hire a black model so I don't have to deal with Panache Report." Now he has to "deal" with Panache Report and the affects of that front page and his idiotic campaign to become the first black James Bond. LMAO!

His actions are quite transparent when you think about it. Puffy got more media time when he was with Jennifer Lopez than any other female he's been with. Period. He didn't even have to try to get media attention like he does now simply because of who she was. When she bounced, it only hurt him because the same number of paps weren't parked outside his place as they were when he was with her. Besides, according to insiders, JLo got the same fists that Kim P. got, so he's an cowardly equal opportunity woman batterer.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday. On the blind, I am with the general consensus: 1. MJ & 2. DMX.
Ooh, if I got started on how much I can't stand MJ for that mess he pulled on McCartney I'd be here all week. Yes, Paul is an easy trick - H. Mills in all her gold digging and crazy delusions of grandeur proved that to the world - but the deal with Michael buying up the catalogue was not due to him being tricked, at least not at that point. Just google or wiki "Northern Songs Catalogue" and add it together with everything King of Skrill already said...I will add that the Beatles songs Michael partially owns is part of a larger catalogue with several artists songs. And interestingly enough, it turns out that Michael was encouraged to buy the catalogue by Yoko Ono, who had turned down an offer by Paul to partner up and try to buy the catalogue together.
Paul is the one who advised Michael early in his career, as a friend/colleague, that the real money was in publishing royalties. Good on Michael for taking that advice but he pulled a dirty, underhanded stunt to get that catalogue cheap, and then tried to scalp Paul for the Beatles part of it like it was a Super Bowl ticket on game day! When Paul called him on it Mike told him "it's business"...cold f***ing blooded.
I'm not saying Paul is hurting for anything (far from it) but it's the principle of the matter to me. Michael's wise investments are (IMO) mostly, because of the advice Paul gave and if he didn't have stake in that catalogue right now he just might not be eating...like KOS said, Mike has investments, but little to no cash on hand or liquid assets. He is going to hang on to his share of the catalogue for dear life, mainly out of pride and/or to not give Paul the satisfaction. And if that wasn't enough I find out above that he gave Little Richard his songs back to him for free. I'd be salty if I were Paul too...you can show favor to some other artist, but I helped you out early in your career and you bite my hand like a rabid dog.
Every time I think about the situation I think of that skit from the Chappelle Show, when he was giving his acceptance speech for winning Player Hater of the Year - "I hope all the bad things in life happen to YOU, and nobody else but YOU." And I believe that every single bad thing that has happened to him since can karmically be traced back to that moment. I really do.

If there is one thing I cannot stand to see it's someone cheating someone else out of money. This just happened to be one of those times where it's completely about the principle of the matter, b/c the one getting cheated (Paul) doesn't really need anyone's pity since he's a cheap billionaire anyway.

That wasn't just 'someone,' several people have said it was weak, and it is. I don't like her but I usually end up liking her music anyway...my sister actually likes a lot of it but I was surprised that I don't like but four songs (would have been five, but one was a cover and once I heard the original I had no use for B's version).
The Sasha Fierce part is supposed to be the club bangers but it mostly just comes off as Beyonce trying too hard to be 'down.' I'm not going to lie, I listen to "Diva" just for the laughs. 'A diva is a female version of a hustla, of a hustla, of-a-of-a hustla!" WTF, what true diva do you know that is a damn hustler? Dated/married some hustlers, maybe. But not actually were hustlers. Oh, Beyonce.

I think Beyonce got too confident by relying on her loyal fanbase to purchase whatever music she puts out. The album shows no growth, improvement or creativity since she struck platinum with DIL. Single Ladies should have been done when she was doing Bills, Bills, Bills and Jumping, Jumping with Destiny's Child. "Ego", while I do like the song a little, should have been next to the Me, Myself and I track on DIL. AND IIWAB should have been on DIL as well. She's peddling backwards with the music and that just means, her time is up! She's did all the "creative" music that she can do. Her engine has ran out of steam and there just comes a time when she and her fans have to realize that. This third album should have been her re-inventing herself to show some of us nonbelievers that she has staying power and that she's worthy of the "icon" status. But she couldn't deliver. Sorry to say, but Rihanna will reach the icon category before Beyonce will, without a voice. Diana Ross did it.

My first thought was that MJ was the easy answer to BI#1. He does not look well despite the makeup job.
I have no idea for the second as it seems it could be any rapper...but DMX is a nasty choice so he was the answer - just EWWW.
I agree that I loved Solange's album and won't go near Sasha Fierce.
P. Dizzle needs to sit down somewhere and chill out. He can't act and doesn't seem to be interested in jacking others music anymore. I couldn't see any producers taking him seriously as an actor let alone as Bond? He wouldn't make them money - I wonder what his Q index is?

As far as the First BI - it read: WAS ON TRACK to BECOMING one of the wealthiest Black celebrities and everything came to a HALT! Hell how many times have "we" hired a relative or road dog to 'manage' our careers, only to find out the hard way - I been robbed?!

Girl, we left Friday afternoon and came back Sunday. Let me tell u abt Thursday. My mother, bless her heart, had a little too much beer to drink and was chasing me around with a plate of chittlins, trying to make me eat some. She liked to have got dealt with! My brother in law has it on his digicam. I hate him. Everybody thought that was soooo damn funny. I was laughing too, I almost tinkled on myself. But we ate good, drank good, laffed alot. I agree with the consensus on this BI. As far as MJ goes, I think it was more than pill popping and booze that ruined his kidneys. I think the amount of skin bleach he used was toxic. You can't be abosorbing all those chemicals for years and years without consequences. Since the kidneys are mostly responsible for cleansing the body of toxins, I think those suckers just gave up! It was too much.

I have no clue if this BI is MJ so I Googled him and it say he's set to throw his brother Jermaine a birthday party in Big Brother house for his 54th birthday in Dec.
It's truly a pity if he's on dialysis because, this kidney replacement therapy really takes a lot out of the body. Kidney transplant are helpful especially if it's from a related donor.
Still I think he made great contributions to the music industry.

Hasn't every Bond been European..with the exception of Lazenby who is Austrialian? Connery was scottish, Bronson is Irish, Dalton and Moore and Craig are British. Only my opinion but if they were to pick a black Bond, wouldn't they follow the same direction as with previous actors and select a European (like Idris Elba)? I mean doesn't the whole production, staff, actors (mostly)...I mean the whole Bond series itself is British/European; if you take the Diddy nonsense out of the equation...why would British production pick an American born actor, when they never have before?
Forgive my ignorance but outside political/foreign relations what does having Obama as our American President have to do with the British entertainment industry or picking an Africian AMERICAN as the next Bond?

If they do go black it needs to be Idris Elba or Chiwetel Ejiofor. I lean towards Chiwetel, he has major acting chops.
Black Bond isn't a bad idea. I've been saying for years they need to switch it up--a person of color or a woman. But the last Bond movie did really well at the box office, so I doubt the powers that be will change a thing. However, that doesn't mean that some enterprising folks can't get together and make a really good black spy/action/thriller. I mean, some fool greenlighted Soul Plane. Surely someone would greenlight this. Right...?

I think that the franchise would greatly benefit from expanding and creating new agent roles. The reality is that Bond himself was an international player who needed connects on every continent. Why not develop characters to support that and flesh out their stories, even more? That creates room for everyone, regardless of ethnicity or nationality. No country can go it alone and neither can an agent, LOL.

I heard Michael and Latoya had cases of bleaching creams delivered to havenshurst when they lived there and then Michael had his forwarded to neverland when he moved out. They have been into self hate for quite awhile. I heard when black maids worked for them back in the day, they were really mean to the black help only and used to leave expensive jewels out to test them, talked down to blacks. I heard Joe has always been color struck and passed it down. Joe hated when Rebie married her dark skinned husband and it took him awhile to warm up to him but the husband is only a shade lighter than Rebie.

Strange, isn't it. Kim Porter treats Quincy better than her darker children but the father of the children is brown skinned. Natalie Cole's mom wouldn't let her associated with darker relatives when she was growing up but Nat King Cole is dark skinned. I guess color struck people overlook color when it comes to money and just pass this madness down to their children.

Color issues do not only live in the south, but they are every place emotionally disturbed(color struck people) individuals reside. My family is from Gary, Indiana too and Gary has always been majority black. Joe moved his fam there from Chicago because of the steel mill, which a lot of black men worked. Gary is beyond the ghetto after the steel mills closed up, in fact it was the ghetto when they lived there on 2300 Jackson Street. With all that being said, Northwest, Indiana isn't prejudice like southern Indiana, like towards Indianapolis, so I don't think being from Gary has anything to do with it.

Being color struck has absolutely nothing to do with being in the North, South, East or West. It happens to every culture where darker people have been brainwashed into that whole notion of closer to white the better. No matter where any African Americans live in the USA, they have family roots in the South, in the West and all over. Someone in that family has color issues and this is one of the lingering issues from the ills of slavery where dark vs. light were pitted against each other.

I really liked Solange's first 2 songs, "I Decided" and "Sandcastle Disco". She is really different and a really good songwriter. I also like Bey's song "Single Ladies" (though it is written by a guy, the Dream);funny how men always write the songs that women sing but men hate, lol. Like "Irreplaceable" and "No Scrubs".

Hey Drunken1 - I agree, love the skim I'm in. I use to hear stories that MJ was bleaching his skin...but I remember years ago when he had the interview with Oprah and she asked him about that and he said he had that skin disease (can't think of the name right now).
And of course being the MJ fan that I am, I left it at that. But years later I began to wonder if it was really true.

Yes, u're right abt that. But I remember watching something abt him and they said that he started losing pigment around the time of Thriller and they showed a couple of pics of his face and there were spots that were lighter than the rest of his face. He was wearing make-up to conceal it. And they have a procedure that can accelerate the loss of pigmentation. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong but I do know that i saw that on TV somewhere.

Beyonce tries to come across as humble but not contacting JHUD is causing a backlash and when Janet was going through it, she distanced herself from her. She's always taking credit for songs she didn't write and her new CD is a mess like the second one. Same as Janet, she's letting her man have too much control over her career. Jay had no involvement in her first solo album and it was the best one.
Women like Mary J., Toni Braxton, JJ and Bey need to stop handing their careers over to their men. Why do they feel a need to do that. Men never hand their careers over to their women. Tommy Lee was the reason Pamela left baywatch, kept telling her she was bigger than the show and could do better and she flopped, same with Suzanne Somers leaving 3's company, her man told her the same thing.
We saw what happen when Melba Moore put her career and finances in the hands of her man, can we say bankrupt.
Women wake up and control your own career, you are not responsible for giving your deadbeat men a career managing your career when they have no experience and will manage it into the ground. A real man would make his own way.

Hey Soul Train-love your post but I would have to add that at some point each and every woman who has had her own opportunity in the game has had to make a choice.....manage and control your own talent/career.....which for anyone male or female in this game is difficult to say the least....or put your talent/career in the hands of someone else....If a woman makes the choice o put her career in ANYONES hands-male or female-it is their individual responsibility to make sure that whomever they hired is qualified to do the job....if they do not take the appropriate time and thought to make the right decision then what happens happens...at some point both men and women have to be accountable for their own actions and refuse to play victim.....to say that that mismanagement of careers is exclusive to "deadbeat" men is off base....One of the biggest travesties in the game to occur happened at the hands of a woman-Sister Perri aka Pebbles.....She robbed TLC blind with no remorse then went to the pulpit to become a female jack leg preacher....wasnt too much sisterly luv in that move now was there?....Not talking down too much Soul Train....just need you to consider some additional perspective before you make blanket statements about men....especially when a grown man is in the building!**all smiles**

Soul Train is one of our most respected posters who was with PR from the beginning, why don't you two agree to disagree and move on. I don't think Soul Train meant you personally, Soul Train spelled out the men and Soul Train is correct, don't think it was generalizing because it was a case by case. Soul Train is loved around these parts and is an OG of the site. Never saw Soul Train argue but provides us with the best old school info you can have. From what I heard, Soul Train emailed the owner and asked would it be okay to drop old school bombshells and was given the greenlight. I don't think the statment was meant for you to take personally, your handle was mentioned in Soul Train's post.

Please see the original Jackal, I walked out on the bruce willis flick. He was more of an assassin. The site he went to, to have the custom gun made was an invisible site and the portion of his non-refundable hit fee was somewhat realistic, only the top assassins can demand that and we know who his target in the movie was.

Yes, I loved John Woo's Mission Impossible the best, John Woo outdid himself but if you want to see a real fixer in action, get the PR recommended "Prison Break," season 1 and season 2, PR was correct, this man is the business, 2-way untraceable cell, fixer for a female vice president running for the presidency. The movie the fixer starring Jon Voight was good but not as good as the Prison Break fixer. This man covered tracks from 1600 Pennsylvania, he even had a cover story in place for employment that was brilliant in case an assignment went awry. Excellent.

Miss She Knows, I was not even into prison break until PR hipped me to it, I thought it was like a prison diary type of show, boy was I in for a surprise. Can I say grade A fixer, and this season has a white female assassin who is the serious shit and a black male assassin who works for a general.
I was told that the writer mapped out the first 5 seasons, the same guy who does 24, another one of my favs for obvious reasons.

Hard times brings out even worse parenting. A story is circulating with video on the web showing a 8 yo child modeling and strutting the runway at a gay ball. I guess this is some kind of contest with a cash prize which I'm sure will not be put in a trust or go towards her eduction. The parents will take it. This is sad on so many levels, pimping your child out like this.

I was talking with a friend(she's black) at work and we were discussing the fashion industry. I mentioned how sad it is that there is hardly any beautiful black models on the runway, but coke addict Kate Moss still gets work. These designers are so desperate to keep us out they put drug addicts on the runway. She then told me that she believe they were racist. I brought up statements made in the past by Tommy Hilfiger, and Liz Claiborne but she said they were just rumors. I mentioned Gloria Vanderbilt and her comment that she only made clothes for white women. She said Vanderbilt could not be racist because she dated a black man. Can someone point me to some articles so I can shut her up. I remember there was a blind item on here about a racist fashion designer . If she comes at me one more time that black people are just complaining......I am going to hurt her.

I'm almost positive that the Tommy Hilfiger statements were rumours. It started that he said it on Oprah (which he NEVER did) and at the time, he had many black models modelling for him...Kidada Jones (quincy's daughter), Aaliyah, Tyrese, he even had a Jamaican dancer modelling for him at the time named Bruck up (he's that guy in the Busta Rhymes, "put your hands where my eyes can see" video. Not to mention, he's donated to black causes and was on the BET telethon after hurricane Katrina with his half black son (who looked just like him if I should say so). I can't vouch for anybody else, but unless I can see the You Tube video with Tommy Hilfiger saying that, it was just a rumour.

I also remember when Oprah started off one of her shows talking about this rumor she said that she have never even met Tommy Hilfiger so how could she have interviewed them on her show? Oprah said that when the rumor first started circulating, it said that Liz Clairborne was on her show and said that then a few years later the rumor said Tommy Hilfiger was on her show saying he didn't want black people to wear his clothes. Oprah got a laugh out of that. There was also a poem circulating about that claiming that Maya Angelou wrote it and on her official website, she states that she didn't write that poem. I have known her for some time, but lately the messed up statements she's made.....they are crazy. She has a friend who is a black Hispanic now she is telling everyone she is puerto Rican. She hates white women, Latino women, but wants to be one of them. She hates black men and think black people are stupid, but is pissed when she see black men with non-black women. I don't see why some black people can't love the black in them. I am going to have to distance myself, because her stupidity make me want to strangle her.

I don't know if any of those alleged comments are fact based. Try snopes.com. They are the best urban legend busters (they also verify if a rumor is true, too). Stories like that pop up a lot. I remember when I was a kid, a rumor was going around that Church's Chicken was owned by the KKK. Another crazy one was that British Knights sneakers were made by the KKK and that's why they had a confederate flag on them. Even I knew that flag was a union jack, not a confederate flag! Sometimes people make crazy stuff up. Maybe because they can't afford it, so they trash it to compensate. Although, that doesn't explain the Church's Chicken story. I mean, their chicken is still $1.99, huh? Damn, we all can afford that! LOL Maybe KFC or Popeye's started that rumor...

I don't know what it is but its something in all of them where they feel that can't stand on their own and feel they need a man to fall back on, to validate them, make decisions,etc. Its sad. Yes they all have choices. We all do. But they aren't making the choice for themselves. There are so many women like this. Its sad. Elvis was a racist and he did steal from us. Kanye needs physical,mental and every other type of therapy. He's been saying some off the wall stuff. I could see if he said he wants to be as big as Stevie Wonder. The B.I. He truly had great producers, but MJ is also a master at interpreting music. Like all the greats, he can make a song better by the way he sings it. Whitney could do that in her heyday, too. My uncle's death haunted me for a long time,but his last words have stayed with me. He told my cousins and I to protect ourselves and I have never forgotten. My stylist went to High school with Rkelly. She had me cracking up about how dumb he was...However, she will admit that his talent was seen early on by teachers and other students. She said he would wear shoes with no socks, and had the ashiest ankles,LOL. Rkelly also went to school with Linda Johnson Rice (Ebony-Jet), and actress Salli Richardson also went to Kenwood academy.

Yep. The guy they were questioning mentioned seeing a dark SUV with big halogen bulbs on Ellen's street when he was leaving her house. When Miguel was leaving Maria's his lights from his SUV blinded her and you could see on her face that she knew something was wrong. His wife said in front of Maria that he was out all night on Thursday (the night Ellen was killed). She's put it together.

Yeah, I just hope Maria doesn't get caught in the cross fire. In the books Maria was killed earlier on. The TV creators have kept Lauren Velez around for much longer than her character survives in the books and rightly so. I luv that girl!!!! representing all of us deeply brown skinned Afro-Latinas well. Dexter is going to have to kill both Senor King (the Skinner) and Miguel. This season of Dexter is a reunion of sorts for Lauren Velez who plays Maria and Jesse Borrego, who plays The Skinner. They played siblings in one of my favorite movies of all time, Darnell Martin's I Like It Like That. Jesse played the hell out of pre-op transexual, Alexis, in that film. Borrego, since the front page talks about Fame, also played Jesse Velasquez in the Fame TV series. Good actors both of them. Incidentally, the director of Cadillac Records with Beyonce is the same woman, Darnell Martin, a Black woman btw, who wrote and directed the film I mentioned above, I Like It Like That. Anyway...sorry I'm a film and pop culture trivia buff.

You're right, he shouldn't have trusted him. I'm just interested in what twist is behind it all. I get the feeling that Miguel has killed more people then the 1 he killed with Dexter and the lady lawyer.
I have a feeling that Miguel's old girlfriend (the chief, whatever her name is) will put the pieces together and have Miguel arrested for the lady lawyer's death. But I think it will put her life in danger and I don't know how Dexter's gonna get out of that trunk.

I love Dexter, and I don't miss an episode. The concept is so bizarre and unusual that it's entertaining and you can't stop watching. A mastermind had to create this concept.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Some folks have "issues"...some have the whole subscription. Others, as I said last week, would complain about a hair in a s**t sandwich. Those exhibiting troll like behavior are just passing thru....because you know they have to find a bridge to sleep under before other trolls take up all available troll space.
