This black female celebrity can't let go.
She was ecstatic when she finally caught a rich and famous black man. He was certainly a good catch. He has a reputation for not sleeping around and being sincere.
But, she had one of her overbearing reps try constantly hint around "marriage," in his presence, on a frequent basis. He became very turned off by this.
He got even more turned off when she began showing signs of being neurotic and argumentative.
He called off the relationship and moved on.
Only problem, she hasn't gotten over him despite dating other men.
Now, she tracks him down at industry events through her publicist.
She shows up, and stares at him until she gets his attention. Being the gentleman he is, he acknowledges her but under his breath he tells his friends, "not her again."
She has turned up at the last 5 events he's been at. And, the same scenario plays out each time, she stares at him until she gets his attention, gestures him over and pleads for him to take her back. He refuses and rejoins his table.
If he's dancing with a girl, she will rudely cut in.
He's telling his friends, he doesn't want to file a restraining order against her but if she keeps this behavior up, she's giving him no choice.

sad to say for a long painful period, 1 of my sisters did this ish. it was always she "messed"up sp she had to shave them all. We told her leave that to pro's if you can't handle it. Saw her last weekend and the squirrel tails were nicely tamed. i gave her 2 thumbs and 2 big toes up & told her to keep going to that shop while silently thanking Jesus that she saw the light. And we are African Americans- LOL

Hey Southn Sister! It was All in love. She is a work in process. She's older than me but I have spent my entire life trying to get her a little hipper and a little flyer. I kid you not, black drawn in half moons. We are naturally bushy in the brows and to come correct, we need to have them tamed but never have I shaved them all off- NEVER-LOL!

LOL. I want to throw away all of her green dresses and disable the horn on her car. Instead of getting out of the car and telling her litter to hurry up, she takes a nap on the horn. Her daughter and her boyfriend got into a fight this weekend. I was sufficiently entertained.

When I saw Kim at a party a few years back - she was going through one of her "vitiligo" phases (skin bleaching)- trying to achieve that perfect shade of off white that she is now.
So, she was three colors - "original" Kim brown, "Faith Evans/C. Baltimore" yellow, and "Ned the Wino" pink (cheeks).
Her skin looked very tramautized - that wasn't the worst of it - she chose the "groucho marx" eyebrow stencil that night.
She looked like she had two charred catapillars on her face.

You reminded me of a sociology professor that I had who dressed kind of like a beatnic from the 50's in all black. he had this whole Mike Jackson from (thriller days) one curl that would hang down in the front of his forehead. Darling, it is nothing secretive about it, he openly dated a white woman, he actually dates all races. Many of the black history college professors across the country are married to white women, go figure. I was watching an Omar Epps movie where he was a civil rights activist and he was married to a white woman and Messy Jesse cheats with white women. Huey Black Panther Newton made a sex tape with Candice Bergen and J. Edgar used it as leaverge to keep him in line. Karma, I haven't seen the pics, but I know how obsessed paps are with celebrity spawn. Brangelina's kids forked out 11mil... That's 5.5mil a fetus. Personally, seeing people on the cover hawking their babies does NOT make me want to buy the issue. But, I know I'm in the minority. I hate to admit I read MFO (Media Fake Out), but they are running a story that Halle is a cougar. They showed her with this really young guy. Funny thing is, you don't need to be a rocket scientists to figure out they're related. He looks like a cousin. Cougar my azz! If Halle does have her daughter on a magazine cover, hopefully it will be tastefull and under her demands.

See, if you let Kelly tell it they were engaged though...at one point there was an announcement that they had called the wedding off and she was going around saying, it's not a break-up, we just postponed it because our schedules are so busy. But shortly after that they announced an official breakup. And then in bump like this she was singing 'the ring, lost it bout 3 months ago.' Now if Kizzy actually made up all of that in her head and then allowed herself to say it out loud, then she really IS certifiably crazy.
Now in the BI it seems that the guy was scared away because the woman brought up the "M" word too soon. It doesn't necessarily mean he didn't propose eventually, but I get the impression that he didn't.

I felt so BAD for her. Jay and B set them up. It was "bliss" at first and they kind of rushed into things. I've heard that Roy is a very religious guy (nothing wrong with that). Anywhoo--they sat down with the minister and started to complete a series of questions: He said when he got to question #2, he paused--they didn't know alot about each other and he decided it's best that they take it slower. At this point, I can assume, she went ballistic (although he may have been willing to work it out) and it just pushed him away. Kelly needs to know that honey--its NOT the end of the day when a wedding is called off. Life goes on and there's always a pot of gold, diamonds, bangles, and PEARLS at the end of the rainbow. Miss ATLP can speak from experience (although Im the one who backed out). Glad I never sacrificed my happiness to be "Mrs. So & So."

I never knew what was behind the postponement/breakup, but I can agree with his decision to get to know each other better before making such a deep commitment. This reminds me of an Essence article I read maybe 3-4 years ago about a couple who said marriage counseling made them see so much about their relationship they needed to work on, so they postponed the wedding for a couple of years at least. But despite the criticism, they kept the counseling, worked on them, got married, and were very happy.
Also, kudos to you for not wanting the "Mrs." in front of your name more than the peace in your life. My sis used to be friends with a girl who was marrying and up and coming comedian she didn't love b/c she was turning 30 & wanted to be married and he had a little celebrity so that was a draw, too.

Peaches the female singer was the late Janice Dowlen. They rarely performed song together! Frederick was signed to 1 yr contract with a label in Akron Ohio(Tiume Traxx) just to release and distribute the song! The female singer Janice was signed to another label (Heat Records)around same time. Her label would not allow her to tour and perform song with him.He ended touring and havign another woman singign her part.Her label had her touring singing his part with another local OH group!I dont know if either really profited much financially for the song!

This is sounding more and more like Brandy and Quentin because I witnessed something at a BET Awards after party. Brandy has such a phony image. She lets every day men use her up and abuse her. I heard her brother is getting low on funds from the Lambo and Ferrari and now that idiot thinks he can be a gigolo because of his size for women in Los Angeles. Both of them are a mess. Brandy was semi stalking Wanya until he married his wife on the Islands, and seems like she's going down the same path with Quentin. She's a under 30 has been and was a sugar mama to Robert. She has to have any type of man in her life or she don't feel right. Very insecure and jealous over other black women in the biz and she has a hatred for Beyonce that just want quit. So, a good night's sleep still didn't help me figure this out much...I thought about the Brandy/Quentin guesses, but the thing putting me off about that is that I felt that she was probably the answer to Keeping Up With the Joneses from a couple of weeks ago. PR doesn't do a lot of repeats. So I'm not sure she's the answer to this one, but she hasn't been notted yet so I won't rule her out.

I think he had crushes on Shemar and Rick Fox, that's why he cast them in his movies and I guessed Taimak rejected him and got fired. Morning all. I had to go back and read the last two BI's. All I can say is WOW! Tyler Perry is wrong for the way he is treating the ppl that helped him. You can always lose everything AGAIN. I've been homeless myself and I thank God for the ppl who gave me a bottle of water, food, a ride, a job, bus fare, allow me to me copy their textbooks while financial aid was effing around, a couch to sleep on or even encouraging words of wisdom, etc. By His grace, i'll be finished with school in December.

That Moesha money will not keep coming. UPN has different royalty rates than regular network TV (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX) and like it was stated on this board before, Soul Food actors get nothing to this day because showtime and hbo don't pay residuals unless you have skyrocket ratings and you renegotiate after the show proves a hit like the Soprano's, Sex In The City, etc. Brandy is not as wealthy as you think, why do you think she was thinking about moving to Florida after that car accident. In Florida, it's harder to get residents to pay big settlements than any other state, that's why OJ moved there and I read that on this site. She has a little money left but she's not rolling in dough anymore. She never wrote any of her songs. Regular networks pays the actors in an average rated show like Moesha $50,000-$100,000 per episode. The UPN network was only paying actors in their black shows between $5,000-$15,000 per episode.

@Tigress sounds like you have sensitive skin. Try waterproof mascara and a good eye makeup remover.If you really have eye issues buy an eyelash curler and skip the mascara.One should always be used anyways,it makes a big difference.
I recommend Shu Umera eyelash curler it's the best.
I hate to sound like a broken record but...CoverFx was made for sensitive skin.
Tigress, I have found that 100% shea butter really helps with the extreme dry skin. I don't know how much you suffer with the eczema;is it around your mouth and eyes ?Did your Dr. tell you to stay away for foundation?

Hey tigress!!! Girl, normally my hair does fine in the summer but it rained this morning and i wasn't expecting it. I had a lot to do over the weekend and i got caught up in the rain this morning. Becuase my hair is wavy naturally it doesn't look bad but i had to sit in the salon forever to get it done. I usually wear my hair in a pony tail or in a head band in the summer because of the humidity.

Brandy and Ray are sick with it. They are has beens in their 20's and I heard he is behind on his Lambo payments. He bounced from Whitney when he realized all her money was gone on crack, she would have been his perfect sugar mama. I am not sold on Brandy simply because if my memory is correct, didn't Q buy her this over the top diamond engagement ring. I think they were really engaged at one point. Let me tell u some things about Nona before I break for lunch. She dated a whole bunch of pretty girls out in S. Cali. She may have been better off staying with them because we all know what happens when women hook up with Darius like these boards have revealed. Nona won a big settlement from Motown connected to her dad, blew it all, a few millions on buying customized cars for her stable of Mexican men lovers and drugs, travel, cars for herself, etc. That cash was gone in 18 months on BS. She had an abortion and nervous breakdown over Prince when he married Mayte. He told her to get an abortion and I bet he regrets that now.

BET, I know about Nona and girls because she dated a friend of mine who used to do some part time modeling from the valley. I also heard that Prince got involved with her because he had so much respect for her father but he never had any intention of marrying or having a baby with a AA woman who is not mixed. and the irony is...a recessive gene can kick in and that child could still come out "shaded"...and his hair is like a brillo(minus the relaxer) so its a fifty fifty..kids are not science projects..we dont have them to see what they would "look" like or find ingredients...so he wouldnt have loved the baby since it may have been dark?? *hands box of tissues to TAKNA* dry your tears. This is mild compared to some other Prince tidbits that were discussed on another thread. I love his music and have since he hit the set, he is probably the only artist I have on cassette ( couldn't throw out), album, cd, vhs and dvd as well as seeing him in numerous concerts- always wonderful! but it seems our Prince enjoys the youngsters if you know what I mean. Posters were dropping bombs inc'd names of young ladies he signed to his label at 16 or 17 & "groomed" them until they were legal...and then publically dated them. It was said that he didn't actually wait until they were 18, he only went public when they were 18. I was deflated over that. So the colorstruck issue is mild compared to that for me.

There are lots of celebrities we guessed that are in TD's book and a few we haven't discussed such as producer Rodney Jerkins and model/producer Datari Turner. The guy who produced Dame Dash's reality show, was linked with Fantasia, and has appeared in music videos. In the book he is sleeping with a video director turned film director (I think F. Gary Gray's name was thrown around) Datari was used an example of a "gay for play/pay" type who would sleep with men to advance his career. I must say I'm still torn as to whether or not "Gus" is R. Kelly or maybe Bryce Wilson. I believe that Donnell Jones is in the book as well (possibly Quinn or Gus for that matter) and apparently he is Bobby Jones son. I would have never made the connection.

I think Jason Weaver would be perfect to play Marvin Gaye. Jason can act, sing and dance. Usher can do 2 out of 3 but acting is not part of the equation.
Honestly if Bobby Brown was not so messed up, that role could do for him what Ray Charles did for Jamie Foxx.

A poster (health official) that it was a rumor about him but where she works, she was able to confirm it and warned everyone on this board, man or woman who had been in contact with him to please get tested. She said she shouldn't be dropping it because it was against the law and I would not be surprised if she was logging on at a Internet cafe to avoid detection. Lisa Raye is the WORST actress! But I think it's her voice more than anything that I don't like. My first time seeing her was Player's Club and I hated her voice on there, but I thought it was for the role. I hate to think of Hill as being sweet myself. It didn't help my thoughts last year when the pics from Essence came out & he was hanging with Tyler Perry. I love the fact that Hill is an Ivy League grad. He could actually be twins with my cousin. Same height, skin color, built, hair cut and eyes. My cousin got his PhD at the age of 28yr & has already started his own non profit organization in helping young black boys. Another area that my cousin & Hill are simular. My cousin's fine educated ass has not been seen with a woman since his 1st year in college. He always used his education as an excuse for not dating but now he just says he is too busy. It doesn't help that all his male friends are queens. I just hate that the best and brightest in our communities are not the ones being fruitful & multiplying. Same with John Legend. Yeah, Janet was supposed to be part of the Luther tribute at the Grammys that year, but they pretty much nixed her from it because she wasn't on her hands and knees groveling for forgiveness. JT was bending over backwards apologizing and turning his back on Janet just to get back in the industry's good graces. Because Janet wasn't trying to play that beggar mess, they replaced her at the last minute with either Alicia or Celine - can't remember which, but one of them wasn't originally part of the Luther tribute.
The sad part is that if you think about it, Janet's music career really hasn't been the same since that. Is Fabolous on the DL? He has been known to physically abuse women. I have never seen him with a gf/model/actress/homemaker, nothing. Not too long a go I was reading InTouch Mag at the store and it stated Fabolous and Q-tip I think was going to an ALL NITE BOYS ONLY private party at some Penthouse suite in NYC.Do anyone know of this? I stated previously that IMO the ESPY was one of the best award shows that I had seen (in a long time). It had nothing to do with JT. It had to do with the tributes, Arthur Ashe and Never give up awards. Believe me I caught all the cock-eyed looks he was getting from some of the black athletes with his corny side jokes. The day that I say JT is getting close to the sexy/cute line will be the day that George Michael (Wham) is no longer gay and everyone is invited to the wedding.

when i lived abroad in asia , is when the trouble started i would get bouts red itcy skin dry patches ( excema) breakouts. in the heat the skin would burn . So i stopped wearing any foundation . I am going to try the eyelash curler! yes my eyes are so sensitive , and i used to get excema in the corners , but i once i stopped consuming dairy products all that changed. I am going to try the cover fx ... thanks !

She is suggesting that Halle didn't want a "black" baby but ended up with a child darker than her. she goes on to say more evil things but I just thought it was absurd to say such things about a woman who she doesn't know or say anything about her baby. I see now why Halle didn't want to have photos of her child featured in a magazine.
