This life attracted him from an early age. He decided, when he grew up, some kind of way, he was going to be a gangster and he wanted to work with the Italian, Russian and Armenian mobs.
Apparently, his dream came true, although he didn't latch on with the Italians, Russians or Armenians still persist from a year ago, that this rapper started out as a freelance killer for black syndicates and drug gangs.
Whenever there was any type of dispute, he was dispatched to kill. He was paid a large fee for his service.
Although this life enthralled him, he enjoyed hip hop even more. He had a natural talent, met the right people and got a record deal.
He no longer kills for a living.
Another member of a famous rap crew is also suspected in two murders but due to insufficient evidence, the authorities can't touch him.
Some of these rapper do 'live their lyrics.'

Could the former "freelance" rapper who used to live their lyrics be Ja Rule?
Ja Rule's third album, Pain Is Love, released in fall 2001, got lost in the shuffle, but his moonlighting as a songwriter and freelance rapper were paying off big time: By summer 2002, he'd co-written songs for top-selling R&B pop queens Mariah Carey, J. Lo, and Brandy, plus Mary J. Blige, Fat Joe, and Ja's old rap group, CMC (now called Cash Murda Click), among others, were waiting in line to get their dose of flavor from hip-hop's golden boy with the charismatic growl.

The Game is a crip from Santana Bloc. He's had fueds with Suge Knight etc.. The Game is the only one besides a few more that freelance =freestyle good. Of course Jay-Z being the King.
The Game is arrogant, angry, agressive and combative . All the traits of a real Gangta. I do believe he wouldn't hesistate to do it. He's also got his tear drop tattoo . Well, when I was growing up it signified you committed murder.
I do remember reading the game lived in foster care for 8 years. His Parents were both gangsta's supposedly . His father supposedly molested his sister, this is what split his family up at a young age. I could see how all that downtime had him idolizing Gangstas. Plus, growing up in that type of environment. Since he didn't latch on to Italians ,Russians etc.. Makes sense he latched on to the "Crip Game".

More serious charges were brought that summer when Earl's uncle/manager was accidentally shot in the neck at a New Jersey hotel. Police later raided Earl's home and filed animal cruelty, weapons, and drug possession charges against the rapper and his wife; he eventually plea-bargained down to fines, probation, and community service."

Does that mean that up until a year ago he was still being requested to kill or did he stop killing a year ago? Myra, Paris, Deanna, Negrita, somebody help!!!!
Nevertheless, if I had to guess right now, it would be either Scarface or T.I. for the former freelance hitman and Busta Rhymes or Tony Yayo for the member of a rap crew accused in two murders. Scarface keeps a low profile, supposedly because he is Bipolar but I don't think he is. I think it's because of his past. No one that I know of has ever said that he was having money problems. Addidtionally, T.I gave an interview that when he first tried to get with Tiny, he wasn't yet in the business and she gave him a hard way to go because she thought he was broke. What could he have been doing to give him the kind of money that would make her feel like they are on the same level financially? It couldn't have been drugs because if he was like a "Rayful Edmonds" or one of the guys from BMF, we would have heard about him. All the big drug dealers get taken down eventually. T.I. has said more than once that he was a millionaire before he got into this business. Also his business acumen rival's 50 Cent. He invests in art, He owns a construction company that builds houses for low income families in Atlanta and is part owner(i think) of Grand Hustle Records, and although he is not known as a rap mogul, he helps run that label. And if your going to say Uncle L then shoot you might as well say Big Daddy Kane for all of that lol. Fat Joe looks like he would have a heartattack if his victim started running and he'd have to chase. I could almost go with Jay-Z because they say the rapper has a natural talent (and 50 doesnt seem like a natural talent to me)I bet it would blow your minds if it was Kanye West or Common lol. But the second assassin was part of a crew. That could be anyone like Smif-n-Wesson (Coco Brovaz) they did 'Original Gun Clappas', to Wu-Tang (though they dont strike me as a individuals that would do that) to Camp Lo. There are way too many possibilities out there. BUt then the BI says the freelance rapper is very popular that also leaves Ja out cuz he lost his touch. October 5, 2005: Beanie Sigel's Stepfather Found Murdered
The burnt remains of a man found in a parking lot in Philadelphia's Cedarbrook section have been identified as Beanie Sigel's stepfather.
Sam Derry, 46, was shot multiple times and then set on fire, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer, and police are investigating whether the killing was in retaliation against Sigel, who was recently released acquitted on attempted-murder charges.
Sources told the Inquirer that Derry, who was found at about 4 a.m., had third-degree burns covering most of his body, and that Derry's mother and his wife identified him by his personal effects. Neighbors reported hearing shots about an hour before firefighters arrived to put out the fire, and one witness told detectives that a van or SUV was near the area before the fire started.
When Sigel approached the scene Tuesday evening at about 7 p.m., he asked the media to disperse from the area. "C'mon man," he reportedly said while driving slowly. "Show somebody some respect. Y'all bringing cameras where people live at." A reporter responded that they were waiting for a comment from a family spokesperson, to which Sigel replied "There ain't no family spokesperson. Don't nobody got no comment for nothing."
Sigel's lawyer, Fortunato "Fred" Perri Jr., however did tell the newspaper that "the family is very saddened by the loss. They had no idea what a possible motive could be." Reply to this

When someone says east coast esp as na reference to hiphop music I think NY/jersey ,philly . I think that Beanie may be a good guess for the former hitman freelance rapper I will continue to look into other people but to start : ************************************ Beanie Sigel's upcoming federal gun trial could be complicated by a possible bail violation. Towamencin Township police reports indicate a man was arrested in front of Sigel's Lansdale address. The cops detained Kyambo Joshua, an A&R man with Roc-A-Fella Records, on his way out of Sigel's front door. Searches of Joshua and the vehicle he arrived in allegedly both turned up marijuana. The police report indicates Towamencin police grew suspicious of Joshua because he came from New York and spent just a few minutes visiting a "suspected drug dealer's ... residence."
Sigel currently faces gun, assault and attempted murder charges stemming from three separate incidents. He's been on house arrest for several months after winning bail from a federal judge.
It's hard to say what, if any, impact Joshua's arrest will have on Sigel's legal status. The rapper's attorney, Fortunato Perri Jr., reports he's now negotiating a guilty plea for his client on the gun charges and expects to have the deal done before a scheduled March 8 trial. In that case, Sigel was arrested after allegedly leading police on a car and foot pursuit. Police claim Sigel tossed a handgun, which they recovered.
Sigel faces a maximum 10 years in the federal pen on the gun charges. Federal prosecutor Curtis Douglas declined to comment on whether a plea deal will be struck before the case goes to trial and also made no comment on the Joshua arrest.
Expect Sigel to continue his tour of area courtrooms in mid-April, when he'll stand trial on attempted murder charges for the shooting of Terrence Speller outside a West Philly bar last summer.
That trial promises lots of drama. The Philly DA's office reports it's still confident in the case against Sigel. Local cops claim multiple witnesses will point the finger of blame at the rapper for allegedly firing five or six shots at Speller, striking him twice and nearly killing him.
While freedom flickers, oh, let's say, like a candle in the wind, Sigel attends to his career. He signed autographs last week at West Philly's Sneaker Villa to hawk new shoes in his State Property clothing line, and he's set to release another album.
In the meantime, he's supplied local radio stations, including Power 99, with a new track. On the less-than-two-minute rap, Beans rolls out some typically brazen rhymes, boasting about how he made bail, against the odds, on the federal gun charge:
"Me and my mens roll in the Benz for a dub, on our way to the club, smokin' weed out the jug, while most stay in court trying to plead with the judge." He adds, "I shut down blocks," which refers to muscling in on other drug dealers' corners, and explains just how he gets busy. Reply to this

There has been alot of talk about her using it in a negative aspect. But, I beg to differ on this. Because I know she could have used a far more offensive word. She didn't even say Negro.. Which mean black man or black. We say moreno, negra or negrita ,morena all the time. When someone is mad and they want to offend racially .. Other words are used. They range from each latin country some are the same. But, I did hear Jenny's sister stated their mom wanted them to marry white. So it's clearly possible that she just didn't like Diddy's ass due to his race. Not surprising though .

I don't know about alot of Latinos wanting to marry white. I know some that do with any other race, dates inter-racial . Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. However, like with any other race there are a few or so that have that "this race is greener on the other side syndrome".
Lupe(Jennifer's mother) mother Jennifer's grandma , I heard is supposedly darker in her complextion. Leading me to believe she is have a bit more of her african/taino blood. Basically meaning Jennifer's grandmother is considered a Morena . Which is perfectly normal and not unheard of considering they are Puerto Ricans with /taino/african and european ancestry.
I'm glad she didn't marry Puffy either. Puffy had plenty of baggage ,not the greatest reputation ,Kim Porter, Misa and another baby's mama. So there relationship served it's purpose. They complimented each other well, they were constantly in the press seen as the hip/hop power couple. The PR they generated was good. But, I didn't think it would last long term like years. But, that's just me. I mean I didn't care too much for either of them back then. I now like some of JLO's fashionline and shoe line. I love her sandals for the summer.
I do remember that interview as well. I remember seeing Ben's mom on 20/20 she helped him decorate the home with rose petals etc.. When he proposed to Jennifer. It sounded pretty convincing that she may have been smitten with Jennifer initally. Or maybe she just wanted her son to be happy. Matt Damon and some of Ben's other friends supposedly thought he was wayy in over his head. Like he was with Paltrow. I don't know if Ben's mom especially liked Gwen all that much either with her whiney, condescending arse. But, I bet Ben's mom loves Jennifer Garner. They compliment each other way. They are both down to earth and fairly normal.
Bennifer was toxic for each other .. No winners in that one. It was moving way too fast . Full of famewhorin . Reply to this

That's when things seem to go downhill. I wonder what else Ojani could say. Plus, his credibility is greatly damaged . Due, to the fact that he later worked for Jennifer's restaurant making a good salary. Things went downhill again when Bennifer (Ben) got jealous. Ojani was left bitter and hurt yet again. But, Jennifer contacted him first about the being the manager because she trusted him and his decision making.
I don't know about any rappers. But, I did hear about the dance teacher. I'm not sure how long it lasted. Mark and Dayanara were having problems throught out both times they got back together. She is a terror to work with, she experiences unprovoked rages, she screams and belittles her castmates on a constant basis and she drowns her sorrows in alcohol.
She is a raving lunatic but her image handlers and the network cover up her mishaps.
Her offscreen attitude prevents her from having friends, that's why she's never photographed with friends.

Hey do yall remember the following BI?:
A lot of hip hop wives and girlfriends tolerate infidelity from their famous spouses but this young lady takes tolerance to a whole new level. I don't know if her tolerance is her philosophy or comes from her upbringing or a combination of both. Last year, we were informed that she accepts her husband's constant cheating and she tells female friends, 'ignore what your man does, because men have different needs compared to women. A woman is content with one man throughout her life span but a man needs to be with several different women throughout his span to feel complete and I accept that." "Keep your family together, no matter what he does." Sadly, this same woman helped her straying spouse pick out names for the two children he has outside their marriage. If that's not enough, rumors are circulating that she critiques sex tapes he has with other women, giving him tips on how to become a better lover to these women. He loves the situation of having his cake and eating it too. His buddies, jokingly, want to clone his wife. No wonder, he's often quoted as saying, "I WILL NEVER LEAVE MY WIFE."
I was watching Irv Gotti's new reality show, Gotti's Way and couldn't help but notice how close DMX wife was to pathetic Deb, Irv Gotti's wife and how she seemed to be schooling Deb on her relationship with Irv. Did anyone see that episode? Well I got is so bad for these blind items. Watching that instantly confirmed to me that this BI is DMX's wife. She takes her anger out on others, she was recently spotted in a head-rag, pointing, rolling her head and cursing a fellow motorist out who almost hit her car.

This rapper grew up idolizing Italian gangsters. He loved watching mob movies and reading biographies on Al Capone and Lucky Luciano. He also loved the 'Scarface," film.
Hint: The former "freelance" rapper is very popular.

Three names come to mind when I think of rappers who wanted to be gangsters:
1. 50 Cent
2. Jay-Z
3. Snoop-Dog (my wild guess)

I have to redo my list based on the "nots".
1. Fat Joe
2. Scarface
I'm glad to know it's not Jay-Z. I'm thinking 50 may also be "notted".

The answer to this is simple if we can answer one question. Which rapper do you see out now who looks like they came straight from the streets and picked up a mic but they are not quite polished yet. Not a studio created image but real street dude.

DMX really does come across like he never left the hood. Showed up on a stage and started rapping then realized he had just killed a fool.

"The Game" might just fit that profile

Ja Rule. He works with Irv Gotti and you know that's just his pen name. Jay Z is not that hard. He and 50 are both considered Moguls now. They made the Forbes list.

Okay, "famous rap crew", Wu-tang. Remember Ghostface with the Tony Starks character? Not to mention, he still has a lot of street in him. You don't be seein' him all up on the red carpet with that Hollywood stuff. Also, the 2nd one is Fat Joe. Remember Joey Crack? All these are mobster names. AND they are both East Coast rappers. Oh, and Ghostface use to freelance with Raekwon the Chef, all the time. He's another street cat.

Apparently, his dream came true, although he didn't latch on with the Italians, Russians or Armenians still persist from a year ago, that this rapper started out as a freelance killer for black syndicates and drug gangs.
To honest they way it's written is a little unclear. It looks like a year ago to me.

I'm going with "The Game" on this one. The other one is more than likely Tony Yayo fron G-Unit. I heard not long ago he was under investigation for murder.
I know DMX isn't it. I read his book. You know he would have included it. lol

Game is from the West Coast and it has been said that he was never actually a gang member but his older brother Goldie was and he was rapping vicariously through him
Reply to this
Yes. Lashun I know where he's from. I also know what his brother stated. I didn't see the clue . Anyhow I came across more info that leads me to believe Game was indeedy a gang member. But, he's not the former.
Reply to this
Negrita, the game is a blood and he is not all that hood when he was on the show Change of Heart. your facts are not correct.
Reply to this
Believe what you want. I saw him on change of heart too. He was linked to Piru blood and Santana Block Crip. This is why he was called out for being a Buster. I know about both gangs and peeps from both sets. Because some ones on a show etc doesn't mean jack.
Reply to this
I'm also looking more into it and I think that when the use the word "freelance," they mean a freelance hitman. A contracted killer.
Reply to this
Gotcha. Freelance to me would me freelance in two ways. But, since we are talking about a rapper I tend to think the freelance might also be a clue to said rappers skills. But, that just me. I really get a vibe this is "The Game". Thinking about his song . "Hate it or Love it". I also notice he signed with David Geffen. I think the "The Game" along with JAY-Z are probably a few that have a natural talent for freelance/rap etc. I think about how much was made about "The Game" when he came out and how he didn't hesistate to try and instigate a fight with 50 cent.

But the clues say that it is NOT a rap mogul. I would consider Jay-Z moving in a mogul status. he's president of Def Jam, he is one of most successful rappers out there as far as sales of his record, his clothing line, his clubs and other business ventures. I don't think it's Jay.

I'm not feeling Beanie Sigel either. He went to jail for an attempted armed robbery. He was shot in the arm during the robbery so seems as if he isn't the type of person one would want to pull of hits. After all, with his time in and out of jail this guy would get caught plus he's not smooth enough. He's more of a common crimonal who can flow.
That's just my opinion though. He hasn't been officially "notted" yet.

This is listed on Wikipedia about DMX's criminal history:
"In 1999, during a blockbuster 'Hard Knock Life' tour stop in Denver, a warrant for his arrest was issued in connection with a stabbing and shooting of a man that attended one of the concerts, of which Simmons was later cleared; another incident occurred in May, when he was accused of assaulting a Yonkers man who had allegedly harassed his wife and stabbed her in the neck (the charges were once again dropped). More serious charges were brought that summer when Earl's uncle/manager was accidentally shot in the neck at a New Jersey hotel. Police later raided Earl's home and filed animal cruelty, weapons, and drug possession charges against the rapper and his wife; he eventually plea-bargained down to fines, probation, and community service."

ot necessarily so. Sounds like this person was very good at the hit job and made good money from it. Those type of people are legends in the business but they usually aren't seen when ding the hit and they can't leave witnesses to identify them. So it could be someone very popular like the BI says.

What a dumb ass. I read that Denzel was paid about $40 million for American Gangster. One movie!!! What an ignorant young man.

Denzel spoke highly of TI yesterday on 106 & Park. He said that him and Common came to him for advice on honing their acting skills. He said that he was praying for him and sad to see him in this situation. He didn't sound like a man who had been disrespected by a Hip Hop Head.

Denzel is not the type to go around Bashing him. I don't know if that took place or not. But, Denzel would more than likely still be mature. Afterall he is more grounded a lil tiny tim rapper steppin to him probably was nothing. If that did happen. Many peeps have issues on the movie set. They still hold interviews praising this person etc.. I guess good acting/ class. Or either it didn't happen.
Denzel might bring in more than 40 million . That's not unheard of . Will got about 28% of MIB II earning plus his 20 mil paycheck. Keanu 90 million from Matrix plus paycheck. This isn't umheard of. If actors are smart they know how to negotiate that money right. I don't blame them.
Reply to this
Not only that, 20 mil was for doing nothing. This movie was supposed to be made years ago. Denzel had a "pay or play" contract, which means if the movie didn't get made, Denzel would be paid anyway. How sweet is that! TI doesn't and never will have that kind of clout. He has neither the character nor the intelligence. He might have a lot of clout on the cellblock however.

I don't know who this might be in BI without additional hints but there are two people that I believe to be more hype (with hyped up backstories from the mind of a PR person)...it seems the Game and 50 cent fall into this catagory. Interestingly found this article (tho I can't vouch for its validity): http://www.playahata.com/pages/eyecalone/hiphopsmackdown.htm
Just found it kinda interesting because the author seems to mirror what I always thought about those two rappers as gangstas.

Reply to this
This one is really hard! It has to be a rapper with a certain rawness about them.
I don't think that it is Jay, Jay has lots of money and exposure. Too mainstream.
50 cent, nah, he lied about getting shot all those times to make himself seem more creditable as a gangsta rapper.
The Game? Nah, that hardcore stuff is also just a persona. Remember he was on that show looking all soft.
Ja? He is sloppy! He can't even cheat right. He was all up in Superheads first book and, he had made baby momma drama from his wife Aisha, smashing windows all that mess not too long ago.
I am thinking it is someone on the east coast or down the dirty south. The russian, armenian, and italian mafias actually originated on the east coast.
TI would be really good!! All those darn guns, previous jail time, hot headed....fits........
Reply to this
I don't have an answer for this BI, but I do know that hot-headedness is the antithesis of what you look for in a hit man.

If TI was a contract killer, then he should have been smarter than to use a "new bodyguard" to buy guns and silencers. Didn't Myra report there is an underground market for these items. The BI would be privy to this information and smarter in his transactions.

It's definitely not Ja'rule you guys, that hardcore image is only his personification of Tupac. The man grew up a church going momma's boy. Let's clear up one thing about Game, he "is" a blood, not a Crip. It's still definitely not him. It makes sense that the person would be someone from either the east coast or the west coast because of the prevalance of both these sets of mobsters in the areas. 50 Cent is a b$#%ch (great 1st album though)so I doubt it's him. Considering all that, I think that Jeezy would fit the bill especially with his affiliation with BMF. As far as the other person, suspected of murder, I am going to go with Tony Yayo, with his ghetto looking ass. I would have to cross the street if I saw him walking towards me at night.... Yuck. Well, that my 2cents. Myra, can we have one more clue.

Tony Yayo is down to earh, has good southern manners and looks much better in person/real life than that thug image you see on tv. He is highly intelligent and Charismatic. His chocolate brown skin is flawless,he has slim but muscled body and I have seen grown professional, highly educated and accomplished women(black&white)married and single fall in Lust with him on the spot! Tony Yayo has got that OWEEE and he is not even arrogant with it. Like that coke commercial when all the woman run to the window to look at the dude, that is what it is like when Tony Yayo hits our NY office. 50cent is invisible next to Tony, so u can cross the street if u want to...but u just dnt know what u r talking about. I got to thinking...there was one rapper who appeared on MTV Cribs, showing off his love of all things gangster. I think that person was Fat Joe.
Found this interesting blurb:

Talks about how much he loved Scarface - enough to get a tattoo. hmmm

I can actually picture Fat Joe pulling off a hit. His name is also pretty gangster without being directly gangster: Joseph Antonio Cartagena. Most of these rappers who claim to be so hard usually get tried once or twice (Biggie, Tupac, Mase, Dipset), but I have yet to hear of Fat Joe getting into any of these types of altercations other than hitting Jay-Z over the head with a bottle.
Seems to me that he is pretty cool indeed.

Good Morning Everyone,

Ok more on the possible Fat Joe angle:
1) E! news report - Joe wanted in questioning of double murder. This story disappeared kinda quickly, I think. http://www.eonline.com/news/article/index.jsp?uuid=2d994320-c201-45c9-a974-187e60c6768f
Checking out the possibility of the "crew" members wanted for murder of 2 people but untouchable based on BI.
Reply to this
The NYTimes had an interesting article published on 17 Sep 2004 about Fat Joe's connection via a bodyguard to a murder in 1994. While the bodyguard was charged with the actual murder, its interesting to note what police and the media thought MIGHT have went down - "Mr. Cartagena (Fat Joe), 32, has said he was close enough to hear the shooting and saw people fleeing the scene. But investigators believe he may have been closer to the door of the club, where Mr. Mulero was standing when he pulled the trigger, the investigator said."
Then it also offers this tidbit about his record - "Mr. Cartagena has had past arrests for assaults, including a 2002 arrest after a fight in B. B. King's Blues Club and another in 1998 for beating a man in the Bronx. The disposition of those cases was not clear yesterday."

Myra, I'm not sure if you might have left out a word or two when typing this because it says that althought he never hooked up with the Russians and etc.,something still persists up until a year ago.

Did you read the blind item? Myra says he is EAST COAST. Scarface is from TX and TI is from GA. Read the clues people.

Busta has been accused one too many times in things, especially the murder or his bodyguard. Tony Yayo looks like the type to kill 2 people and show off all in a video like nobody can do anything to him.

Good Morning all. I would have to say the East Coast rapper is either Beanie Segal or Styles P. And the other rapper from another crew is Baby or B.G. I know people from the N.O. and Ive heard that those two put that work in.
Baby has a brother they call "gangsta" that is currently serving like 4 life sentences for murder and he's the suspect in 14 others. B.G. was also heavy into the streets when he was off in that world with that Heroin addiction.

Obviously, we read the damn blind item, or we wouldn't be on here commenting. When different people read things, we interpret it differently based on our experiences and knowledge. Most of the time, when we guess wrong, Myra or Paris will post and rule that peson out, so it helps us narrow it down. Just because I don't get out of it what you do doesn't mean I can't read or don't know how to. Show respect or take it to Concrete Loop!

I agree Nic - they are not checking timestamp of comment & think the comments below others were made after - not always true. What helps me keep track is the subscribe to the BI & that way you get the comments in proper order in your email

Do you people read it clearly say He's from the East Coast and he's "not" a rap mogul. Wouldn't that rule out Jay-z
Reply to this
It is not T.I. Someone who could get away with be a hitman and then entering the rap game would not be stupid enough to buy silencers and automatic weapons through an intermediary. It has to be someone whose exploits are only hinted at. That person would still be low-key, even as a rapper. Contract killers, to be successful, have to be intelligent and know how to hide in plain sight. Don't ask me how I know.
Reply to this
Reading is fundamental. I dont understand why some of you are listing rappers from the west coast or down south. The blind item clearly states East Coast. So THE Game, Snoop Dog, Trick Daddy, Birdman are not good answers. And it also said he is not a mogul. I dont know, maybe it is somebody like Nas, Raekwon, Ghostface, 50 cent or Ja Rule.
Reply to this
I think 50 would be considered a mogul. I think a mogul would probably be someone who owns a label or has their hands dipped into more than one area, such as fashion, fragrance and the like.
Reply to this
Oh yeah you are right....I just dont consider him a mogul for some reason.

Black Rob is a petty thief. Thats why he's locked now. I dont think that a hit man thats being paid very well would have to resort to that.

Here is a quote from Black Rob.

Morning everyone,Myra love this site & addicted to blind items. Question to help get answer: Which rappers are NOT messed with (ex. dissed, called out, included in a lot of photo ops, etc.)by other rappers, but when they are around
everybody is friendly but give forced smiles? I don't know the answer---but,
the image/industry puppets will be out.

I agree with the "not messed with or dissed." My vote is on Fat Joe. He has an obsession with Al Pacino and gangster movies based on what I saw on MTV Cribs. No body every misses with him. And he looks like he's a very calm guy. Which would make for a very good contract killer, I think. He reminds me so much of Tony Soprano, not just cause he's a big guy, but his swagger.
P.S. I think he's a great raper.
Reply to this
I agree he does have a gangster style & if he has his house decked out with gangster stuff it makes him a top candidate for this BI...is he considered "hot" right now?
Reply to this
He's still relevant enough, to talk about.

I am so not feelin Fat Joe for this blind item.

Didn't Half Dollar take a shot at him on "Piggy Bank"?

Paris why is there quotation marks around the hint "NOT" Jay-Z???
Or maybe I'm jsut reading too much into that.
But it can't be scarface becasue he's from the South and T.I. is considered southern to.
Don't have any real good guesses that can account but I dont believe it was Ja nor 50. 50 is just a bully not a murderer.
Then I could be reading it wrong since the freelancer was part of group so does that mean he started with a crew then went solo or he was solo and then attained a crew?

My guess is LL COOL J.. he's from Queens.. and the hint said "not" a mogul.. he's not really a mogul, but a brand and legend in his own right. He is a VERY popular rapper.. even today.. So, that's my guess..
Reply to this
LL is most definitely a Business Mogul. He does Real estate, investments and he is does acting and has 2 clothing lines.
Mogul means you have business sense above and beyond hip hop.
Irv Gotti/JayZ/Puffy/LL CoolJ/Master P/FatJoe/TI/50 cent moguls! They all have businesses to keep them going when hiphop stops paying for them.
Reply to this
ALSO.. he seems to be living quite largely still.. and he even just recently bought a new pad.. DESPITE not really having a "hot" album in some years.. Maybe those years of being a "freelancer" have really paid off and allows him to live that lifestyle
Reply to this
If you invest well enough, you don't need to have hot records every year. The late Lamont Bentley died a multi-millionaire even though he was only on one hit show. He'd begun investing money he made years ago from a series that was cancelled after a handful of episodes. LL is smart. He's been investing his money since "I Need A Beat".

Scarface/TI/TrickDaddy/CashMoney/Tony Yayo=South
JayZ/50Cent/Puff/Fat Joe/Irv Gotti= Moguls
Game/Snoop/= West Coast
JaRule= no one is scared of him he is 4 feet tall
DMX= drugged out of his mind, who would hire him to do anything
LL COOL J= too sexy to be lowkey

Hey guys off Topic but, want your feedback. From the frontpage we have Kim Kardashian and who cares about her other than a BI awhile back that mentioned a memeber of a famous family that dated a girl having a STD and having gotten with the Grandfather Papa Joe! Am I alone in this?? We know Kim K dated MJ nephew in 3T but do we now know they broke up because of the STD and she did Papa Joe (YUCK YUCK). That girl is skank a dank!

It Kim K. is the answer, further proof that the B.I.'s are real cause back then, I didn't even know she dated a jackson relative, front page confirms it today, damn, they be on it. Have to agree with another poster, this site is scary accurate and their info is on par with satellite retrieval.

That is why I am hooked on this site like coffee. Stay tuned becuase when someone makes frontpage news it is either because 1)they have been the subject of a blind 2)about to be the subject of a blind or 3) very, very closely linked to the subject of a blind! Especially if it is a random out of no where mention..for example do we care about KFed, Kim Kardashian or Madonna? However they were all linked to a subject in a past BI or were the BI themselves!

Wu Tang comes from Staten Island. My fellow New Yorkers know that Staten Island is known as Staten Italy, so it is highly possible that one of the Wu Tang Clan could have some sort of connection. I think the answer is Young Jeezy due to his ties to the BMF and also he has said many times that he did not aspire to be a rapper. He sort of fell into it. He's talked about that in interviews and his early songs. I really think it's him.
Reply to this
And the BI does state "a hired hit man for black syndicates and drug gangs". If the BMF doesn't classify as a black syndicate, I don't know who does. When Geezy first came out he had produced those tee shirts with the snowman on them before everybody caught on to what the snowman represented. He's sort of distanced himself from the BMF as it was beginning to crumble due to getting busted/raided simultaneously across the county. You might be on to something, Anonymous!
At the same time I can't believe folks would publicize their activities as part of marketing strategies thinking that nobody is going to figure it out! Was I the only one thinking that the snowman thing was so not a fashion statement but a reference to drugs?

Is Young Jeezy from NY or the ATL?

Young Jeezy reps the South but I don't know if that is where he is originally from. He is a good guess except for the "East Coast" clue.
Reply to this
Jeezy is from Macon, Georgia and migrated here to Atlanta. Its also been rumored here in the A that he was more or less a front for BMF. More like a worker dude because he could rap and he was their way to clean the money-if u no what i mean.I don't believe its Jeezy. He tried to have Gucci Mane killed and the he ended up killing the guy that came to do him. Not the makings of professional hitmen.

They had no idea what a possible motive could be."

When someone says east coast esp as na reference to hiphop music I think NY/jersey ,philly .
I think that Beanie may be a good guess for the former hitman freelance rapper I will continue to look into other people but to start :
************************************
Beanie Sigel's upcoming federal gun trial could be complicated by a possible bail violation.

GFK is also signed to Def Jam (Jay Z's label) Done songs w everybody from Beyonce to Mobb Deep and even has a songs where he talks about robbing other rappers (check Saturday night off of Supreme Clientele) All the rappers speak highly of dude (even though he cant sell) A few years ago there was an article in a rap magazine (i forget which one, too much weed) that talked about which rappers really lived the lyrics they rap and right at the top of the list it said "a couple of them wu tang guys" (plus WC from the west coast a known crip, and Scarface from houston if anybodys interested). Anybody who remembers the wu tang era knows he wouldn't even show his face in the first 3 or 4 videos (who does that?). BTW if u cant tell im a GFK fan (most underrated)

Its not Beans (Beanie Sigel) i know some of the dudes he used to run with in SPhilly. He wasn't paid like that b4 his deal. He was just one of these syrup drinkin (got that yellow!)pill poppin (Xanny's out!) small time dudes from south philly that sell hard and like to rob people.

GFK - Ghostface Killa? That's the only thing that I can figure out.

I think #2 is Lloyd Banks from g-unit. When 50 was making all those mixtapes (b4 get rich or die trying) he used to brag that banks was a stickup kid who used to rob drug dealers. He look kinda shady and act real low key (just like a some1 who does heists) and the BI says "member of a famous rap crew" like he not the front man.
Reply to this
GFK is GhostFace Killa from wu tang clan. Saigon is a new rapper, he hasn't released an album yet but theyre piping him up as the next big thing from new york. you can see his new video on onsmash.com

I think it is Method man. he was very very popular at one time... and I think he is good at what does too. He seems sneaky as well.
Reply to this
I tend to agree some. I think he might be the one from the famous rap crew suspected in the two murders if it's not Tony Yayo .
Reply to this
Yeah, I think Method Man fits the rapper who is suspected in 2 murders but hasn't had anything pinned on him.
I haven't read all of the 290 messages under this BI, but my guess is Nas. He talks about some real thangs. That's my gut reaction to it.
What up, all???
Reply to this
What's up Deanna? Here we are on a Friday night being entertained by our guilty pleasure.
I'm not feel Method Man on this or anyone from Wu. I know they live in Staten Island, but it seems like Supahead would have blown the top on this if indeed he was engaged in this type of career. She's just that messy.
Also, if he was a hitman it seems like she would have ended up missing especially since she outted him as being Poppa in her book.
Then again, he hasn't been officially "notted" so who knows....
Reply to this
Hey Ma how are you? I don't know I just commented on Nas. Deanna, do you think bigmouth Carmen would have known ? She did do her tell all about her and Nas,Jay-Z ,IVERSON . A big ole snoozefest. I don't know he's fairly intelligent.
Reply to this
I'm just speculating, but she may not have known. Didn't Carmen get with Nas right as he started rapping or just after he got started? I'm not too familiar with their story. Nothing about Carmen's book made me want to read it.
Based on some of the true crime I've followed, there is a way for a hitman to have a regular family and lifestyle and still do his thing. There's one guy in particular that I'm thinking of now, but I can't think of his name right now. He's in jail and they still haven't found all of the people he's killed. Drawing a blank.
Still thinking that Nas is the contract killer and Method Man is the one who killed 2 folks and they can't pin it on him. He just seems like he'd do some stuff like that.
Reply to this
I don't know much about their relationship either. I don't know when they got together. I read some of her book in the bookstore. I wasn't payin for that shyt. It wasn't worth liberating. I'm joking ! lol . I did slip through the pages in hopes of something that would catch my eye naythin... She's full of it...
Makes sense about Nas he's very controlled too. But, I keep thinkin his father being a Jazz musician etc. He was born in Long Island. I don't know did he kill for sport. Not necessarily for the money ? I'm thinking hard about Method and Beanie . But, something about G-Losit seems grimey too. I am drawing blanks girl.
Reply to this
Me, too. Nas just jumps out at me as the professional killer, but I don't know. Has Myra or anyone said no to anyone besides Jay-Z? And it just FEELS like Method Man is mixed up in this BI some how.
Damn, I miss you guys! I'm trying to still iron out some things and get my stuff back on a regular schedule so I can be online more consistantly. Positive changes, but it's messing with my routine! LOL!

Hey Chica. Gurl I don't know. I think Bey is focused on her career... Think Jay might need some attention?

It's her parents who are forcing her to look past Jay and focus on her career. I think she wants to settle down with someone but her parents are too much in control of her life. She's going to pull a Janet sooner or later. (Well in a way she did when she had to sneak and record B Day).
Reply to this
I agree with you. Now I think she's a bit ego driven as well. Has a fear of not being in the press etc. I really think she's more in control these days. I mean being caught at a female strip club? I don't know I think Bey is ambitous on her own.. I also think her and Jay her just going through the motions is all. Did I hear she's coming out with another reocord in Nov?

Yes, she's recording for yet ANOTHER album! And I do recall Matthew saying he was going to release a B Day LIVE CD recorded from one of her concerts plus a LIVE DVD. Talk about over saturating the market!

Hi everyone... Thought I am new posting, I have been reading Myra's site for ages and LOVE it. I admit it- I am a Lurker. (smile)
I have been in the industry (ATL) for over 10 years and so I know a lot of what you are saying is true & then some... *(Boy, I could tell you some stories!)
But I had to comment on the remark about TI & how he was a millionaire before becoming a rapper/mogul... Regardless of his uncle having money-
T.I. was definitely rocking the block back in the day, but was friends with KP@ LaFace and eventually was hooked up (by hanging out & serving in the studio- you'd be surprised who loves that 'girl' & 'boi'...)to write lyrics for other artists. He made a million alone off of Bow Wow in a short amount of time, not to EVEN mention the D-boy money.
I'm just saying... TI is VERY savvy and he understands how to hustle. He is turning his music money into MULTI-GENERATIONAL WEALTH (that Rothschild kind of money...) with his non-entertainment based businesses & investments...
Reply to this
I thought it was either TI or 50, but now I am leaning towards Cassidy

Ok maybe I am a little indecisive but I really believe it's 50. He somehow was introduced to Jam Master J,how who knows, became his understudy, became a huge rap star, then J was murdered later on contract style...There are a lot of evidence pointing towards 50 especially his song with the chorus "I Still Kill"

This blind item is a lil more difficult because truthfully there are more than a few rappers/hiphop artist that seem to enjoy glorifying the illegal life of drugs and violence. It could fit more than one person, and unless your behind the scenes of the industry or close associates of certain people and KNOW their past your pretty much left to guess and throw random names out .

I have lost count of all the black latino rappers that I hear lyrically displaying their fondness for the mob and pictures like Scarface and The Godfather.Look at how many of them have adopted names of Italian or Columbian mafia bigshots.

Here is a listing that I found of Influential Mafioso rappers. Of course some of these people can be eliminated. Excerpt taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafioso_rap
AZ- Whose name he took from Harlem drug dealer Azie Faison. His name is pronounced "AZ". He also has an alias by the name of "Sosa", from the movie "Scarface".
Big Pun
Capone -Derived from the famous 1930's Chicago mob boss Al Capone.
Capone-N-Noreaga
Fat Joe- Fat Joe also goes by an Alias by the name of "Don Cartegena".
The Firm
Fun Lovin' Criminals
Ghostface Killah
Jay-Z
Junior M.A.F.I.A.
Kool G Rap- Who said that the G in his name stands for Giancana, which is the last name of Italian Chicago gangster Sam Giancana.
La Coka Nostra- Derived after the meaning of mafia, La Cosa Nostra.
N.O.R.E- He is also known as "Noreaga" which is derived from the former Military General of Panama, that was Known for drug running in the U.S. Manuel Noriega.
Nas - Who, during this period, took on the alias "Nas Escobar" after the Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar.
The Notorious B.I.G. - Whose gangster alias is "Frank White" (the title character of the film, King of New York) and more popular alias "Biggie Smalls" (the name of a gangster played by Calvin Lockhart in the 1975 film Let's Do It Again).

I thought Nas- stood for Nasir. LOL

My guess is NAS. It really seems to fit. And if memory serves me right he was one of the 50 million rappers that have a Scarface shrine up in their living room... like he's jesus. And I believe anyone from the WU Tang is capable of murder, would not be surprised. CamRon and JaRule are way too soft on the real to be taken seriously as contract or otherwise killas. I'd believe Busta Rymes before those two.
Reply to this
I'm not feeling NAS for this. He's chilling in his new Atlanta life, hanging with Kelis, too conscious to be a hit man.
He hasn't been "notted" yet so anything is possible.
Reply to this
I really don't think this is Nas. Wasn't his daddy a Jazz musician ? I would think his snitchin ex-Carmen (babymama's mom) would have told it all in the book. Her book was a big miss but, if she had anythin newsworthy of writing about it would have been that. She's known him a while.. But, then again he's intelligent,a lyrical genius, he might be methodical enough to be a hitman. I just doubt it. But, thats me.
Reply to this
Fellow Panachigans, I am calling it a night, but looking forward to signing back on tomorrow to see if we have a complete "not" list.
The sad thing about this BI is that there are so many Rappers of Color who idolize the entire Mob scene and try to live that life. Think about all of the names we listed:
Irv Gotti, JaRule, DMX, Tony Yayo, Jay Z, etc. heck....even Lil Kim was up on that Mafioso ish with her "Lil Kim Gotti" persona.
They can have all of their bling bling and Mafioso world. I am totally satisfied living among the country club and golf course!

Re: Lupe using the N-word in spanish. Hmmm I keep hearing different versions. She called him a Moreno. Which doens't mean n-word. It actually just means brown, man or women or just the color.
Okay... back to the books I will look up torn I might order it. Would this book made a "church betty" clatch her pearls? Then I will order it immediately .. LOL

A LOT of latinos want to marry white. (especially blonde/blue-eyed). I KNEW JLO would never marry Puffy.
She DID pay the price though. When she gave that interview with Ben Affleck and stated the "mother's are happy". I LAUGHED SO HARD. She meant "HER MOTHER" was happy. Ms. Afleck wanted Ben with Gwyneth Paltrow. (She is SO UNATTRACTIVE).
Reply to this
I don't know about alot of Latinos wanting to marry white.

I heard a rumor about JLO. I heard prior to making it "big" she was a jump-off/ho for many rappers. I was told that SNOOP references her in a song (way back) as JHO.
Does anyone know about this?
Reply to this
I don't know about that.. I have no clue. I do know that Jamie Foxx refered to her as Hey-HO. He stated she really was standoffish at the grammys backstage years ago. So then he stated he knew her when she was just "Hey-ho".. That was on his comedy stand up routine. Since then, I have heard him speak highly of her and say she was beautiful. Same with Tommy Davidson he called her a concubine for In Living Color.. Probably old news though.

Yes it is true, she started with her married dance teacher, moved in w/him at 19 and just worked her way up including Hammer. She was a jump off for Marc Anthony before and during his marriage to Dayanara.
Ojanis' book that was crushed was going to blow the lid off JHo!
Reply to this
What else could Ojani have stated? I mean he took a divorce settlement early on to keep his mouth shut. This is why she won in court because he violated the agreement of the settlement. I remember Ojani stated initally she was good to him. She was a good cook, etc.. He did state he knew she was cheating when she went to film Anaconda in Brazil.
Not that it excuses her and Mark. But, she and Mark have always loved each other.Supposedly . I remember the diddy, dayanara, kim, mark and Jennifer circus.

but NOIRE got ZANE beat lol

I had that thought too Noire was Zane.. Could this be a future blind item? LOL ...
Jay and Bey- They have been together for 7 years? Wow time flies by.. Not married yet? Not that they need to be.. But, if this had been Bey and Jay down the street living in some apartment complex togetha 7+ years. People would be sayin " Why hasn't he married your ass yet" ???
Weird though she's so ambitous it's time for a break.. I wonder when the she sleeps. I know she's got to be tired.. Damn how does she have time to be with Jay? I don't know Bey ego probably wouldn't allow her to go public about breaking up etc. But, they seem to be a bit on the lackluster mode. I like to see happy couples etc.. They just seem to be going through the motions.

Doubt it, IMO, ain't nobody snitiching, I see 10 different names tossed around with no confirmation??? So how is it any kind of snitchin, lol, when no one has been identified, lmao. The way most rappers think, this would give them street cred if anything, they ain't mad at ya. Me personally, I like the short stories on here, true and fiction, that's why ya'll hardly see me in here, now I might be wrong, but I got a feelin, just from reading some of those joints, folks seem kind of connected in real life.

LOL I like how they ADDED hints after I stated it was jay-z... at first the original blind item had only one hint and it said the guy was a "freelance" rapper. then after the jump they added he's from the east coast and not a mogul... hmmm?
Reply to this
I would go with Cormega aka Mega Montana.
He lived the whole Scarface lifestyle and raps about it in a lot of his songs. He witnessed his mothers murder at the age of four. Has been very successful independantly, The only thing is he never gained the fame of Nas or Mobb Deep and other people he worked with.
orrrr
Beanie Sigel
-filmed his movie "State Property" which is basically a Scarface remake.
-His name Beanie Sigel, is a play on the gangster Bugsy Sigel who was a hitman once.
-, a jury acquitted him of charges that he nearly shot a man to death on a crowded city street two years prior. In August, Sigel left federal prison after serving nearly a year on a federal weapons charge that stemmed from a 2002 traffic stop in Philadelphia.
-he can also be quoted saying "I Hear A Lot Of Shots Being Popped; I'm Here - Hit Man For Hire"
Reply to this
I always heard that his name was from a steet in South Philly-Sigel St. This is the first i have heard about the Bugsy Sigel reference.
My guess is Trick Daddy-he wasn't notted was he?
Reply to this
FiRMBiZ might be right about beanie sigel because if anyone has ever seen the jay-z "lalala" video, jay says,"ill never make the news again,my man will shoot ya" and beans is standin right beside him mouthin the words,"ill shoot you"

Can the PR sleuths helps me with this old BI. On Concrete Loop, the general consensus was Raven Symone.
SNOOTY DIVA:
The truth is finally seeping out regarding the behavioral problems of a very famous black TV actress.
This actress is the "black Britney Spears/Lindsay Lohan" in terms of bizarre and egotistical behavior offscreen.
She's an out of control-snooty diva!
But she's tolerated because everyone around her benefits financially.
To the public, she appears to be a sweet, kind and gentle soul.
Reply to this
This sounds like Raven Symone, the hint she is a raving lunatic (doesnt raving and Raven sound alike), or I might be reading to much into that sentence..lol
Reply to this
Good point! I think its safe to say that reading too much into BI's is actually a good thing.
Reply to this
I remember seeing this on Black Voices and I think the consensus was for Raven Symone although quite a few people also stated Kyla Pratt.
My vote is on Raven ie..raving lunatic comment sealed the deal for me.
Reply to this
Remember when we were talking about it in the bi thread .. Someone came in going KRAZY,because we thought it was Raven? Rememeber the person mentioned all the nice things Raven did? Like charities etc. I always found that weird mainly I have never heard of Raven being affiliated with any charities etc.. You could tell the person took it personal. I am thinking it was our Raven lunatic..

I do remember and I think it was Raven herself or either her Mom!

Wow @ Negrita & LinaB! I missed that! These comments get weirder and funnier as this site gains popularity.

I missed it too. I'm not sure if I like all of this popularity. As much as I love the site and all the regulars, the news of this site has attracted a few loonies. I especially do not like the ones who think this is Media Take-out, Bossip, or the like.
Anyway.....just my 49 cent
Reply to this
This definitely sounds like Kyla Pratt. I hear she drinks heavily but just turned 21 not long ago. Additionally, Kyla is never photographed w/ friends like her counterpart Raven is with her very popular group, Cheetah Girls.
Reply to this
This has to be Raven... I've experienced her ugly behavior before, and I was so disappointed in her parents because they let her talk to & treat them like ickybooboo... She feels entitled, and her "sweet girl" image is a BIG FAT LIE.

I was watching the show like this scene looks like a blind item I read about. LOL Because, of course Ms. Myra posted the BI way before the show aired.
Thanks Myra for bringing the mystery and intrigue....I'm hooked!
Reply to this
Oh yeah, last one for tonight. Remember:
Myra wrote: This black actress is known to keep a filthy house and her offscreen attire has become unkempt at best.
In her heyday, she made money from a few TV shows but she never hit it big. Instead, she married a golddigger who took the little money she had before abandoning her.
She takes her anger out on others, she was recently spotted in a head-rag, pointing, rolling her head and cursing a fellow motorist out who almost hit her car.
Men have complained that she is 'way too nasty in the bedroom' for their taste.
She is currently working the modern day chitlin circuit just to keep the lights on.
****************VIVICA FOX**************
LOL! That's all I got to say, Goodnight!

Shell Rock- answer to the blind item about wife who tolerates her hisband infedility is (in my opinion)
DMX's wife .I believe the reference to her upbringing refers to the fact that she was raised a muslim(her dad is a muslim) and they do believe in polygamy(more than one wife/woman)
**************************
Irv Gottis wife was another good guess.
He was cheating on her for ages, but I dont think its her for soem reason.
Ps I think that Myra and staff should consider having a chat room or seperate site section where members can go to discuss past blind items with oneanother, so that the current topic can stay on track! At very least a section of site dedicated to discussion of past blind items.
Reply to this
Yes. I suggested that too. Maybe a messege board so that all the blind items can be posted and we're about to reply to each thread. Also with a messege board, people are able to see who you're replying too and replies are in order by the time they were posted. That way, people are able to see newer replies and people wont get confused as to who you're replying to.

cocoalatte-I agree, I believe it IS DMX's wife if you read my comment completely. Additionally, it would be great to have a blog exclusively for the discussion of past blind items.

what about Memphis Bleek he not out there like that and he from the east coast but he always puttin up the roc sign but hardly eva makes music and he one of the ppl that jay z kept when him and d dash split. so i always wondered what his place was @ rocafella def jam since he not heard from often mostly on a jay z song so wh is jay z really keeping him around.

I think that Jay Z sees Memphis Bleek like a lil brother! They come from the same hood, and hes known him for years, so for them its like a real loyalty type relationship.

Not sure if anyone googled "East Coast", but just to clarify, according to Wikipedia, "The East Coast of the United States, also known as the "Eastern Seaboard" or "Atlantic Seaboard", refers to the easternmost coastal states in the United States, which touch the Atlantic Ocean and stretch up to Canada. It usually includes all thirteen original states, as well as select places such as Washington, D.C., Florida, and Maine."
Hope this helps, and great guesses everyone!

Im agreeing that its someone from Wu-Tang since Myra usually puts the answer on the front page and its there today

Definitely agree it is the RZA. He is extremely talented and is a "freelance" artist mostly. He is highly intelligent, disciplined and extremely well read. He has the intelligence and control to have been involved in such a thing.

Its either SAIGON, UNCLE MURDER, or TRU-LIFE.

I think not! The BI states the person is "very popular". Neither of those 3 are known outside of their hometowns!

I am soo sorry for thinking it could be TI.
I spoke with my husband, and he tells me that Raekwon from the WuTang is perfect for the first part of the blind item. This also sounds like RZA as well!
I think those who guessed Wu-Tang are on the right track!
I still cannot guess the second part of the blind item. Is the person also on the east coast?

I wonder if these celebs ,that we common folks are guessing about ,are laughing or are they nervous? or are they just nervous that they may be exposed as a future blind item?. killers, wife beaters ,homosexuals (closet)addicts in Hollywood and some that I dont care to even think about!Be nervous very Nervous Myra is gone put you half way on blast!lol keep it come-n- ms/ Panache

Myra/Paris, what does "still persist from a year ago" mean? Did this rapper just stop what he was doing a year ago? Or does that mean something else?

Did we ever get a "not" list? I went back through the posts and I see that Jay-Z, JaRule, DMX, Cam'ron, and a few others were notted by us but not Myra or Paris.
Anybody else get a good count of the "nots"?
Was Fat Joe really notted or did we all dimiss him?
